CV.Z.P A -Reuter—Copyright * WORCESTER India was made to struggle in bleak early-season conditions against Worcestershire's pace attack on the second day of their three-day cricket match at Worcester.
With the ball lifting ar.d seaming, the tourists had to work for every run as they stuttered from 45 for one overnight to 160 for eight in three hours and a half, leaving them still 98 behind on the first innings. Scores: Worcester first innings 258 (B. d'Oliviera 108, S. Madan Lal seven for 95); India 160 for eight (S. ;N. Gavaskar 25, P. B Pa’el 23, S. Abid Ali 25 not out, S. M. H. Kirman four not I out).
