Children injured
Two children were admitted to the resuscitation ward of Christchurch Hospital yesterday after being hit by vehicles. "Stephen Ritchie. aged;, seven, of 336 Ferry Road,; suffered internal and leg in-; juries when, he was hit by| a truck at the corner of Ferry Road and Aidwins Road about 3.10 p.m. He was in al serious condition last even-, ing. Lyndon Hali, aged four, of; 12 Castletown Street, suf-, fered head injuries when hei was hit by a car in Bower Avenue, New Brighton, about • 3.15 p.m. His condition last evening was described as improving. _ t
