Reshuffle in Teheran

The Prime Minister of Iran (Mr Hoveyda) has reshuffled his Cabinet “to meet the country’s present-day requirements arising from increased revenues and a
boosted economic growth rate.” Of the new Cabinet of 19, only three were in the last Ministerial team. Mr Hoveyda said in a teles ision interview that the new Cabinet would work to implement the Shah's reform plans to provide welfare and better health and education for the Iranian people. Among the Cabinet’s duties would be a revision of Iran’s .SUS32,OOOm. five-year development plan launched last year.
