Big audience for film
A theatre was booked for one session, and an overflow of nearly one hundred boys was sent to an earlier session, when the Boys’ Brigade held a film show in Christchurch on Saturday evening for junior section boys. Boys from all parts of Christchurch and Rangiora attended the special showing of “Flipper and the Pirates” a" the Avenue Theatre. The showing was organised as a I social gathering for boys of the Canterbury battalion 'aged eight to eleven.
