Presentation of cheque
fN’.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. A cheque for $5500, the result of a national campaign by Lions clubs over the last two years, was presented to the National Heart Foundation by Mr W. G. Taylor, the president of the Papatoetoe Lions Club, which initiated the appeal. The cheque was the proceeds of a car litter-container sales campaign, and will be used for education, research and rehabilitation work within the Heart Foundation.
