Board watching meat prices

The Meat Board was continuously reassessing the schedules being paid to farmers, and would no doubt be doing so in the coming week as it did every week, the chairman of the board (Mr C. Hilgendorf) said yesterday.

McNab), suggesting that in the light of the further declines in the lamb and beef schedules the board should be reconsidering the advisability of issuing its own schedules.
