He was commenting on the statement issued on Friday j by the chairman of the Dominion meat and wool council of Federated Farmers (Mr T. G. McNab), suggesting that in the light of the further declines in the lamb and beef schedules the board should be reconsidering the advisability of issuing its own schedules. Frazer The objective of the talks had been to assess the world trade in beef in the light of Australian influence. Mr Hileendorf said. They were interested in Australian production. storage, and sales, and as a result they had a better understanding of the position. Mr Hilgendorf was not prepared to comment further.
