Glass on boys’ pitch

Two Rugby teams of boys aged 10 were prevented .from playing today when it was discovered that vandals had strewn their playing field at Aorere Park, Manglere, with broken beer bottles.

The boys and their parent found glass across the; i whole • of the field. They| ! tried for half an hour to ' clear it, but had to give up. Only one of the three] fields at the park was affected. Two were used for other matches. Some full bottles of beer were sitting on the field.
