WOOL DOWN

The wool market continued to ease at the final Timaru sale of the season yesterday. Halfbred and Corriedale wools _ lost another 5c to 15c per kilogram on the Christchurch sale earlier in the month, and Merino wools also had a weak sale. Crossbred fleece wools were back slightly on the recent Napier sale, but they had a better sale than the finer wools and. apart from the finer crossbreds, they were not far from recent Christchurch rates.
