Africans threaten Britain
fN.Z.P. A.-Reuter —Copynffht.) LAGOS. The Executive committee of the Supreme Council for Sport in Africa will meet in Tunis next Friday to discuss possible sanctions against Britain over the coming Lions’ Rugby tour of South Africa.
The S.C.S.A. president. Mr Abraham Ordia, said: “We reserve the right to boycott any country, be it England or any other nation, that supports apartheid by holdiing sports engagements with South Africa, the oppressors' (of our African brothers, i “South Africa must re(main isolated in inter-! (national sports until it aban-( (dons its obnoxious racist ( (policies. I “This is not a question of | [who is involved: rather, it is ■ (a fundamental problem of (human dignity and freedom. (He who is not with us is] (against us.” The British Lions are [scheduled to begin their tour iof South Africa next month.
