Sandy Powell (left), one of (he stars in the “Golden Years of Music Hall.'' and a former New Zealand Rugby league captain. Mr P. A. Smith, met again yesterday after 27 years. The team captained by Mr Smith attended one of Mr Powell’s shows in Leeds during its tour of England in 1947-48. When Mr Powell called at the Embassy Hotel, which is owned by Mr Smith, he was surprised to see a photograph of himself with Mr Smith taken after the show in Leeds.
