Petone. at Palmerston North on April 28. The six are A. J. Wyllie ■ (Canterbury), H. H. Macdonald (Canterbury), S. C, • Strahan (Manawatu), K. W. Lambert (Manawatu). W. F. ' McCormick (Canterbury), and G. S. Thorne (Auckland). The rest of the invitation j team, apart from the Horowhenua No. 8, W. Robinson, are Manawatu representative i players.
