• EXECUTIVE TRAINING OFFICER HOTEL AND CATERING INDUSTRY TRAINING BOARD THE Hotel and Catering Industry Training Board requires the services of an Executive Training Officer who will be located in Wellington and be responsible to the Board. . DUTIES: The successful applicant will be responsible for the implementation of the board’s policies in education and training for all levels and all sections of the industry. This will include the preparation of occupational classifications, the identification of training needs and priorities, the preparation of industry training programmes, and the establishment of career structures. The position will require close liaison with industrial organisations at national and local levels, and with a variety of educational organisations. QUALIFICATIONS: The age range is flexible, but applicants should be well educated, have organisational experience at executive level, have a readily acceptable prsonality and have a broad background and understanding of modern training functions. Previous experience or employment in a hotel of catering organisation could he an advantage. SALARY: A minimum salary of $7500 will be paid, but this is open to negotiation if an applicant has outstanding qualifications.
