Bushman killed
(N Z. Press Association) HOKITIKA. A young contractor was I killed in a bush accident at Blue Spur, about five miles I east of Hokitika, at noon on Wednesday. He was Laurence George Bensemann, married, with one child, of Gibson Quay, Hokitika. Mr Bensemann, who was employed by United Sawmills, ’was sawing through a 15in tree when another tree uprooted about 10ft behind him and hit him.
