Onions for Japan
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Mar. 25. The largest shipment of onions believed to have been bought by one firm will' leave New Zealand for Japan at the end of this week. ' The buyer, Ataka and Company, Ltd, of Osaka, will receive a shipment of 2500 tons of onions. About 1200 tons of the onions would be loaded in Lyttelton, said Mr J. B. Donald,' of Donald Export Trading, Ltd.. The balance of the shipment! would be loaded at Napier,! where some onions from the' Pukekohe district would; make up the cargo.
