SOME BIG GAINS ON STEADY NEW ZEALAND MARKET
Price movements were mixed in moderately active trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. Rises and falls were almost in balance, but insurance, retail and transport companies were firmer overall. Second-line stocks showed some big rises, most of them after trading-gaps, but the leaders were little-changed.
