Mr Douglas Bamfield, who has been appointed general manager of Silknit (N.Z.), Ltd, a subsidiary of Lane, Walker, Rudkin, Industries, Ltd. He will begin his duties on March 18. The present managing director of Silknit (Mr Jack Nieman), remains a director of Lane Walker Rudkin and of its Auckland-based subsidiaries, but will cease to be managing Director of Silknit after a period of transition.
