A CLAIMS AA SUPERINTENDENTS The Accident Compensation Commission invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for two positions within its head office in Wellington. The successful applicants will be directly responsible to the Director of Compensation for the adjudication and assessment of claims made under the Accident Compensation Act 1972. VACANCY No. 21/74 CLAIMS SECTION Duties: Responsible for the efficient administration and control of a Division involved in the general adjudication and assessment of claims. Qualifications: The position calls for a wide claims handling experience and a background in the assessment of compensation. Applicants for Vacancy 16/73 will be considered and need not reapply. VACANCY No. 22/74 SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS SECTION Duties: The appointee will be particularly involved in the assessment of claims for pain and suffering, disfigurement, loss of enjoyment of life and similar heads of damages. Qualifications: The position calls for wide experience in the negotiation and settlement of workers compensation and general damages claims.
