The position is sole charge and the manager is responsible only to the directors. Whilst the clientele is in general restricted due to timber shortages, the planned expansion programme necessitates the services of a progressive and energetic manager. The position would suit a person in the 25 to 40 age group with management or executive experience, not necessarily in the timber .industry although this would be an advantage. We operate one of the largest saw milling and timber processing complexes in the South Island and we are looking for the right person to join our young and progressive team. DUTIES: Duties will involve the assisting of management in short and long term planning. The successful applicant will operate completely separately from the company’s day-to-day accounting functions. QUALIFICATIONS: Formal qualifications, preferably B.Comm. or A.C.A, are essential for this demanding but most rewarding position.
