Road race at Lincoln
! The sixth round of the 1 Canterbury road running championship, the six-mile -Lincoln Lope, will be held today. In this, the preI sent leader on points, D. Reece (Olympic), is favoured to increase his lead. His chief rival appears to be B. McLennan (Christj church 8.H.5.), who missed ! several of the early rounds, but who has since made a big impression in the series. The leader of the handicap competition, being held in jeonjunction with the championship, is J. Mulvaney. About 40 are expected to race, which will start at Linj coin High School.
