Novel by Agnew
The American “Ladies’ Home Journal” plans to serialise a novel by the former United States VicePresident, Mr Spiro Agnew. Intrigue and Great Power politics, set against the background of Washington, are reported to be the subject matter. The executive editor of the magazine, Mr Richard Kaplan, said yesterday: “I have seen an outline, a sample chapter, and some character sketches, and the book looks outstanding, and has great potential. He refused to confirm a published report that the magazine ! was paying more than SUSIOO,OOO for the serial rights.—New York, February 7.
