Riggers slop at Kawerau
(N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA. February 7. All the riggers employed by Fletcher Bernard Smith on the Tasman Pulp and Paper Company’s paper machine expansion project at Kawerau stopped work this afternoon. The 23 men are protesting! against the dismissal on! Monday of seven riggers. A meeting between the* union and the employers is planned for Monday.
