Robe River discovers more pellet grade ore
• X.Z. Press Association— Copyright > SYDNEY, Febi’uary 5. Robe River, Ltd, has reported the discovery of a “potentially significant” new pellet grade ore hearing structure in its West Angela project area in Western Australia.
The company said the : structure was about two and a half miles long. However, mineable widths, depths, grade and other factors had yet to be evaluated. The announcement was made by the directors in their report for the quarter to October 1
The directors said per[cussion and diamond drilling continued tn the West Angela area throughout the ■ quarter “with major emphasis placed on reconnaissance i percussion work in temporary reserve 4982 H. “This programme has given preliminary indications
(of a potential significant! ; new pellet grade ore bearing •jstructure,” they said. • They said that at the end ■lof the quarter 43 holes total-j • [ling 2903 metres had been ■ cut into the mineralised downfold with “encouri aging” results. The directors said additional percussion and di- [ amond drill work was periformed on major iron minerI alised zones in reserves 4981 H and 4983 H, where ex- [ tensions of previously loicated enrichment and inter- | nal structural areas were the [exploration targets. Each of these zones was [about four miles long. I Additional drill and geo-| [logical assessment work! would be necessary to define [the dimensions grade and 1 viability of these deposits, the directors said.
