They report that a letter received by Mr Hermann Neuberger, president of the World Cup organising committee, has given a warning: that the Hamburger) Volkspark (stadium) will be blown up unless West Germany declares a general amnesty for political prisoners on May 1. The sources say that the letter was signed with the initials “R.A.F.,” which: were once used by the Red Army Faktion, a group of) anarchists also known as the; Baader-Meinhof Gang.
