Polished off
(N.Z. Pres» AssociaJio.n) DUNEDIN. A week’s hard polishing went to waste when a traffic patrol car — which was to have been scout car for the Royal convoy —was involved in a three-vehicle collision at the Pukueri railway crossing, eight miles north of Oaraaru. The patrol car was damaged, and withdrawn from further duties. It was still at the side of the road as the Royal convoy returned to Oamaru Airport for the departure. No one was hurt in the accident.
