R. Hadlee in doubt
Tired from travelling and so much cricket, the New Zealand opening bowler, R. J. Hadlee, said on his return from Australia last .evening that he was still uncertain if he would be available for the test series against the Australians in New Zealand. Hadlee does not intend to play in the next round of club cricket on Saturday, but said that he might reconsider the situation after a week of rest. The New Zealand captain, B. E. Congdon, did not arrive with the other South Island players when they flew in to Christchurch. Congdon was on an earlier fight to Wellington.
