Gardner's four is the favourite to take the national title yesterday. the first day of the national women's fours, pairs, and singles bowling tournament in Wellington. Mrs Gardner, of Berhampore, Wellington, had two wins, the most notable a 2113 victory against Mrs J. Winstanley, of Marewa. a member of the New Zealand team last year.
