Situations Vacant FARM ADVISORY SERVICE FIELD REPRESENTATIVE A VACANCY exists for a Farm Advisors Representative for a Company working to increase the profitability of livestock and the farm unit as a whole, primarily through carefully compiled fertilising programmes, resulting from farm inspection and analysis of the soil and its structure. Men with initiative, a sound farming background. and their own transport, are invited to apply for this position in the South Canterbury region. The applicant selected will provide the vital link between an already established clientele, with good scope for enrolling new members, and the Company’s technical advisory staff at the Head Office and Laboratory in Christchurch. Remuneration is on a generous commission basis, and a man with ability to organise his activities effectively and good initiative, will have no trouble earning a very satisfactory income. A period of training is given at the Head Office before the Representative is sent out to his I own area, where he spends his time servicing and enrolling clients, taking soil samples, interpretating the recommendations, and supplying minerals from his own stock.
