Leaders to speak
President Nyerere of Tanzania. and the Prime Minis-, ter of New Zealand (Mr Kirk); will speak in the Christchurch Town Hall late inl March at a public meeting on ’ international aid and trade to underdeveloped nations. The meeting has been| arranged by the Christchurch ■ Roman Catholic Diocesan Council to coincide with the State visit of President Nyerere to New Zealand. The National Council ofi Churches. C.0.R.5.0., Chris-' tian World Service, and the ■Roman Catholic Overseas Aid Committee will assist in organising the meeting, which will take the form of; addresses by the two I speakers, followed by ques-i tions and discussion. The meeting will be followed in May or June by an ecumenical regional seminar,: from which it is intended! further action will be taken?
