Promotion trip by museum director
Dr R. S. Duff, the director of the Canterbury Museum, will leave today on an overseas trip to publicise the Antarctic Hall in the new anniversary wing of the Canterbury Museum.

Dr Duff [will also try to obtain mediaeval relics for the museum. Dr Duff said he was disappointed by the slow rate of construction of the anniversary wing. It was hoped to have it completed by the end of 1975, and the Antarctic Hall opened in 1976. The estimated cost of the i anniversary wing is $830,000.
