N. King capital to increase
Newton King, Ltd, New Plymouth-based stock and station agent, proposes to ask shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting of the company to be held on February 21 to approve an increase in the company’s authorised capital from $3.5m to s7m by the creation of 3,500,000 ordinary shares at $1 each ranking pari passu with the existing ordinary shares. With the recent l-for-5 bonus issue, total paid up capital of the company is now $3,257,719, leaving unissued capital of only $242,281. The directors say that they have no immediate plans for the issue of the proposed new capital.
