Actress marries
AV.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) SANTA BARBARA (California). The actress, Jane Russell, aged 52, has been married to John Calvin People, aged 49, a real estate man. in a private service, in Santa Barbara. It was the third marriage for the actress, who became famous at the age of 19 when she was picked by Howard Hughes to star in “Outlaw.” She later starred in “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.” The wedding was attended by friends of the family and two of the bride’s children by her first marriage to former Los Angeles football star and coach, Mr Bob Waterfield. The couple will live in Santa Barbara after a honeymoon on the bride’s yacht off the Santa Barbara coast. It is Mr People’s second marriage.
