Situations Vacant GOVERNMENT OF HONG KONG BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEERS THERE are vacancies for Building Services Engineers in the Public Works Department, Hong Kong (a) to design, specify and supervise the installation of electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning and refrigeration engineering services in buildings and the maintenance of existing electrical and lift installations; and (b) to design, specify and supervise the installation and maintenance of electrical and lift services in multi-storey buildings and complexes. Qualifications desired: M.N.Z.1.E., M.l.Mech.E or M.I.E.E; or M.I.H.V.E. plus at least one year's appropriate post-qualification experience. Preference will be given to qualified building services engineers with some experience in air-condi-tioning, refrigeration and mechanical services. Salary scale equal to about SNZ63OO—SNZIO,3OO by seven annual increments. (Comparative scale in New Zealand would be about $8500—513,500). In fixing commencing salary, one increment granted for each year of relevant experience in excess of entry requirements. Appointment on agreement for two years and a half in the first instance. Gratuity of 25 per cent payable on total earnings on satisfactory completion of each agreement.
