; (N.Z P A Reuter—Copyright • DURBAN. South Africans have been appointed to the posts of (president and secretary of the World Life-saving Association, succeeding two Australians, Mr X. Weldon and (Mr A. Whelpton. Mr D. Osborne, president and the secretary, Mr G. BQtha. were elected unanimously at the world life-sav-:ing congress in Durban ! which is being attended by (delegates from Australia New Zealand. Taiwan and Britain, as well as South Africa.
