Metrics on land
A booklet entitled “Metrics on the Land,” which is an introduction to metrication for everyone associated with agriculture, has been prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries. It has been distributed from Wellington to all farmers on the rural delivery services and copies of it have also been distributed to farmers and horticulturalists by field staff of the ministry and some farmers have collected it from ministry offices. In the case of farmers who have not yet received one, copies are still available at ministry offices,
