(N.Z. Press Association HAMILTON. New Zealand beat Canada in Hamilton by 2-0 in an uninspiring, hard-hitting men’s hockey match on a rock hard surface which made trapping difficult. New Zealand had many shots at goal mostly from comers. All were well off [the target. | Almost at the end of the I first spell A. Borren positioned himself w’ell, and •slammed in a powerful shot [from a long comer. [ Midway through the second spell’ after a good run by IJ. Archibald, S. Maister scored. Scores: New Zealand two, Canada nil.
