Sir, —I am sorry to introduce a sour note into “Join Together,” a jolly good song, but why did the group who recorded it decide to sing in a phoney American accent. Are they ashamed of being Kiwis? Must “laffter” fill the air?— Yours, etc., SENEX January 30, 1974.
