Polhill to compete
The New Zealand 1500 metres runner, Tony Polhill yesterday denied reports that he was withdrawing from the Games 1500 metres. The heats are to be run tomorrow and the final on Saturday.
“I will be running,” Polhill said.
There was speculation that the Auckland runner, who is a roommate of Dick Quax, would withdraw from the 1500 metres because of injury .
