GLENGOW AN OUT
Glengowan will not be at Rlccarton for the Benson and Hedges Inter-Island on Friday.
The Woodville trainer, J. W. Harris, withdrew him from the race yesterday after the horse had shown signs of soreness after exercising. The Harris stable will still have a representative in Sharif, which will be ridden by the Auckland jockey, B. F. Andrews. Noel Harris, who had been drawn to ride Glengowan, will now ride the Washdyke mare, Totara Maid.
