Charge of murder
CA’.Z. Press Association? WELLINGTON. A man appeared in the Lower Hutt Magistrate’s Court on Monday facing a charge of murder. He was ; remanded to the Masterton Magistrate’s Court on February' 7 for the taking of i depositions. William Hapi Turetahi, aged 37, a carpenter, was charged that on December 21 at Masterton he murdered Sandra Gail Clarke. No plea w'as taken and Mr J. K. Patterson, S.M., re-' jmanded the accused in cus[tody.
