London murder charge
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Jan. 29. The police have charged an unemployed man, John James O’Brien, aged 23, with the murder of the Royal biographer, James Pope-Hennes-sy. Mr Pope-Hennessy, the official biographer of the late Queen Mary, died in hospital on Friday after being attacked in his West London home. He was 57.
O’Brien, of no fixed address, will appear in court later today.
