EXCHANGE RATES
Sterling improved against the New Zealand dollar in the foreign exchange markets last week, and New Zealand currency was also easier against the currencies of China, Switzerland, India, Canada, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Fiji, South Africa, Denmark, and Norway. But the New Zealand dolI lar gained ground on all other ‘currencies, including the United States dollar.
