Fragrant fuel
Smelling like a rose could be a bad thing at Whidbey Island naval air station. The United States Navy is mixing a chemical in petrol used by Government vehicles that makes a smell like flowers when it burns. The distinctive fragrance is intended to discourage .theft of fuel.—Cak Harbour (Washington), Jan. 27.
