Canterbury oil hunt
'X.Z Press Association* HAWERA. A West German ship has completed seismic surveys off the Taranaki coast for i Shell BP Todd, Ltd. and will work off the Canterbury coast.
The general manager of Shell BP Todd (Mr H R I Williams) said from New Plymouth that the survey was complete and that the ship had left for Canterbury. The results of the Taranaki survey would not be known for some months. Mr Williams said. It had to be filed [with the Government, but it iwas unlikely the results (would be made public.
