New careers officer

Miss Lesla M. Kennedy has been appointed chief vocational guidance officer in the Department of Education. Announcing this yesterday, the Director-General of Education (Mr A. N. V. Dobbs) said that Miss Kennedy would take up her new position early this year. She will replace Mr Gordon Innes, who will retire at the end of January after eight years as chief vocational guidance officer.
