“THE WALTONS” Your critic R. T. B. has ; come under fire for failing to appreciate the merits of “The Waltons”. I for one i don’t blame him. I am re- . garded by forthright friends ■ as being a sentimentalist, : but I think “The Waltons” ■ much too treacly for comfort. I can appreciate a play ; which catches and holds the ; feelings of the viewer but not when it is as soppy and obvious as this load of rub- ■ bish. — REASONABLE.
