Duties include investigational work in livestock, pasture and crop production in the Sounds and Marlborough I CoUnties. The appointee, who will be based at Blenheim, will be expected to undertake field work, to record experimental data and prepare research reports, etc. Applicants, who preferably should have had some agricultural experience, must have University Entrance, and if lacking a higher additional qualification, will be expected to study for the New Zealand Certificate of Science.

Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
