f.V.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 14. The Federation of Labour’s attitude to French nuclear testing in the Pacific was unchanged. its secretary (Mr W. J. Knox) said today. This was in line with resolutions adopted by the! International Federation of Labour and the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions, to which the F.O.L. is affiliated. Mr Knox said that the redaction of trade union move-' ments in Australia and New! Zealand to the proposed French tests this year would! undoubtedly be decided when the co-ordinating committtee met in Melbourne next' March. This would be preceded by ■ meetings of the F.O.L. national executive on January! 22 and February 20, and of the national council on' February 27 and 28. It was almost certain that F.O.L. planning for action against the tests would be undertaken at these meetings.
