Cyclist out after fall
The Llgandan cycling team received a setback yesterday when one of its members, M. Mukasa, had to withdraw from the Commohwealth Games. Mukasa dislocated his left : houlder in a fall and was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital on Sunday. He was discharged yesterday, but will not be able to ride in the Games.
Another cyclist, the English track sprinter, M. Burton, crashed while training at Denton Park yesterday and suffered superficial grazing. He is expected to compete in the Games though. L. Revill, the New Zealand light middle-weight boxer and one of the brightest hopes, is suffering from influenza.
