Trailer-sailer title to Chch
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The Christchurch 16ft trailersailer Enogro (G Oborn) scored her third win in the fourth heat of the New Zealand championship at Evans Bay yesterday afternoon to take the title for the class, from 29 craft. Runner-up for the title was the Auckland craft Summa (P. Broadhurst) with the Christchurch boat Outsider (T. Shapland) third
Enogro yesterday afternoon narrowly beat the Wellington boat Windhover IV (B. Scully), with Outsider third.
Summa had a narrow lead when the race started. Had Enogro been beaten by Windhover IV on the final beat—as appeared possible when Windhover threatened—Summa could have taken the championship.
