Public Notices NORTH CANTERBURY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the North Canterbury Electric Power Board, at a meeting held on the 21st day of December, 1973, passed the following resolution: That in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Elec-trie-power Boards Act 1925, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and their various Amendments and Regulations made thereunder, the North Canterbury Electric-power Board hereby resolved by way of Special Order as follows:-— 1. That for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the North Canterbury Electric-power District and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric-power Boards Act 1925 and its Amendments anti by all other powers and Authorities it enabling. the North Canterbury Electric-power Board hereby authorises the raising of a loan of Two Hundred and Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($22a,000) for a term of twenty (20) years, at -an interest rate of six and a quarter per centum (6i p.c.) per annum. 2. That the proposed security for the payment of interest, repayment of principal and the payment of other charges on the said loan is a special rate of one seventy-sixth of a cent (t/76c) in the dollar (?) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property In the North Canterbury Electric Power District. Pursuant to Section 45 of the Electricpower Boards Act 1925, Public Notice is hereby given that the foregoing resolution will be submitted for confirmation by the North Canterbury Electric-power Board at a meeting to be held in the Board’s office.
